Pharmacy Manager

The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of a pharmacy, ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications, and providing excellent customer service. They will supervise pharmacy staff, manage inventory, and maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy staff and provide training and support.
• Ensure accurate and efficient dispensing of medications.
• Manage pharmacy inventory and monitor medication levels.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize pharmacy operations.
• Provide counseling to patients on prescription medications and over-the-counter products.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and medication-related issues.
• Oversee medication compounding and preparation.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and new medications.

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Valid pharmacist license in the state of practice.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a pharmacy.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
