The Payroll Executive is responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely salary payments in accordance with UAE labor laws and organizational policies. This role involves maintaining employee records, calculating wages, processing deductions, and coordinating with HR and finance teams. The Payroll Executive ensures compliance with regulatory requirements such as WPS, gratuity, and leave settlements while maintaining confidentiality and precision in all payroll functions.
Responsibilities:
Processing monthly payroll accurately and on time, including salaries, allowances, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
Managing payroll data entry, validating attendance and leave records, and ensuring alignment with HR systems.
Coordinating with HR to update employee records, contracts, promotions, and terminations.
Ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws, including WPS submissions, end-of-service benefits, and statutory deductions.
Preparing payroll reports, payslips, and reconciliation statements for management and audit purposes.
Handling employee queries related to salary, deductions, leave balances, and end-of-service calculations.
Collaborating with the finance department for journal entries, bank transfers, and payroll funding.
Assisting with internal and external audits by providing accurate payroll documentation and reports.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
3–5 years of payroll processing experience, preferably within the UAE.
In-depth knowledge of UAE labor laws, WPS, gratuity calculations, and HR payroll practices.
Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and numerical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle tight payroll deadlines.
Discretion and integrity in handling sensitive employee data.
Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
