Pastry Chef

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Part-Time Pastry Chef to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a creative flair for baking and a strong commitment to producing high-quality pastries. As a pastry chef, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods and desserts according to our menu standards. Compensation for this position will be production-based, rewarding your expertise and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods including cakes, tarts, cookies, and specialty items.
• Follow established recipes and ensure consistency in quality, taste, and presentation.
• Decorate pastries and desserts to meet visual and flavor expectations.
• Collaborate with the team to develop and refine new recipes and menu items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage inventory and ensure the timely procurement of ingredients and supplies.
• Monitor production schedules to meet daily, weekly, and special event demands.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a pastry chef, baker, or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredient functions.
• Creativity and artistic skill in pastry decoration and presentation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work part-time hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and standards.
• Amenable to work in Al Khabaisi, Deira, UAE.

Compensation:

• Production-Based Pay: Payment will be determined based on the volume and quality of baked goods produced.
