Paediatric Dental Nurse

We are seeking a caring and experienced Paediatric Dental Nurse to join our dental team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a gentle approach with children, assist paediatric dentists during treatments, and ensure a safe, clean, and comforting environment for young patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist paediatric dentists during examinations and dental procedures

• Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness in treatment rooms

• Calm and reassure young patients before and during dental visits

• Take and process dental radiographs under dentist supervision

• Educate children and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care

• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative duties

• Ensure compliance with infection control and health & safety regulations

• Manage stock levels of dental materials and reorder as required

• Provide chairside support and anticipate dentist needs during treatments

• Support in managing special needs or anxious children with compassion and professionalism

• Participate in training and continuous development related to paediatric care

  
  

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Dental Nursing or a related qualification

• Valid DHA/DOH/MOH license or eligibility in the UAE

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a dental nurse, preferably in a paediatric setting

• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, child-focused demeanor

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle young patients with care

• Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and sterilization protocols

• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus

• Flexible and willing to work evening or weekend shifts if required
