Oriental Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled Oriental Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be an expert in preparing authentic Oriental cuisine, specializing in dishes from Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Middle Eastern, or other Asian cuisines. This role requires creativity, precision, and a passion for delivering high-quality dishes that meet our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook authentic Oriental dishes, ensuring high-quality standards and presentation.
• Develop and refine recipes to enhance flavors while maintaining traditional authenticity.
• Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and food safety regulations.
• Monitor ingredient quality, oversee food preparation, and manage portion control.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations and timely service.
• Innovate and introduce new menu items based on customer preferences and market trends.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring proper techniques and consistency.
• Manage inventory, control food costs, and coordinate with suppliers for fresh ingredients.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as an Oriental Chef in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, or catering service.
• Expertise in one or more Oriental cuisines (Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Middle Eastern, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of traditional cooking techniques, sauces, and spices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Excellent knife skills and food presentation techniques.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
