Oracle PL SQL Developer

The Oracle PL/SQL Developer is responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining Oracle database solutions using PL/SQL programming language. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement database structures, optimize performance, and troubleshoot issues. This role requires strong technical expertise in PL/SQL, database development, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Oracle PL/SQL scripts, procedures, and functions to support business requirements.
• Collaborate with business analysts and software developers to understand system requirements and translate them into database solutions.
• Perform unit testing and debugging of PL/SQL code to ensure functionality and data integrity.
• Optimize database performance by analyzing query execution plans, indexing, and tuning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, such as performance bottlenecks and data inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with database administrators to ensure proper backup and recovery procedures are in place.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including data models and database design specifications.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance database development and maintenance.
• Stay up-to-date with Oracle database technologies and best practices.
• Provide technical support and guidance to cross-functional teams on database-related matters.
