We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Operations Manager to oversee the daily functions of our Toys Store. As the Operations Manager, your key responsibility will be to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the store to deliver exceptional customer service, maximize profitability, and drive business growth. You will be responsible for managing a team, developing and implementing operational strategies, and maintaining the overall success of the store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring all processes and procedures are followed accurately and efficiently.
- Manage a team of store employees, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve store productivity and profitability.
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure accurate stock levels by working closely with suppliers and monitoring sales trends.
- Create and maintain store policies and procedures to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for customers and employees.
- Monitor and maintain the store's financial and budgetary planning, including sales, expenses, and profit margins.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and local/state/federal regulations.
- Foster a positive work culture and create a supportive environment for all team members.
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships to negotiate favorable prices and terms.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager in a retail setting, preferably in the toy industry.
- A strong understanding of retail operations, including inventory management, sales, and budgeting.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
- A passion for the toy industry and a creative mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience managing a team and effectively working with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
