Job Description

The Operations Manager (E-Commerce) is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of e-commerce operations, including order fulfillment, logistics, inventory management, and customer service. This role plays a key part in ensuring seamless online shopping experiences, efficient supply chain operations, and timely delivery of products. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in e-commerce operations, data-driven decision-making, and process improvement. This role requires leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with vendors, warehouses, and technology partners to streamline operations and drive business growth.


Responsibilities:

  • oversee day-to-day e-commerce operations, ensuring smooth order processing, fulfillment, and delivery

  • manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, and warehouse operations to prevent stockouts and overstocking

  • collaborate with logistics partners and courier services to optimize shipping efficiency and reduce costs

  • implement strategies to enhance customer service and improve order accuracy and delivery timelines

  • analyze key performance metrics such as order volume, fulfillment speed, and return rates to drive continuous improvements

  • coordinate with IT teams to maintain and enhance the e-commerce platform's functionality and user experience

  • develop and implement process improvements to streamline operations and increase efficiency

  • ensure compliance with e-commerce regulations, payment security, and data protection laws

  • work closely with marketing teams to support online promotions, product launches, and seasonal sales campaigns

  • manage and lead the operations team, setting performance goals and providing training to enhance productivity


Requirements:

  • bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, e-commerce, or a related field

  • minimum of 5-7 years of experience in e-commerce operations, logistics, or supply chain management

  • strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, order management systems, and warehouse management systems

  • experience in managing relationships with third-party logistics providers and courier services

  • data-driven mindset with experience in using analytics tools to monitor and improve operational efficiency

  • excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • strong leadership abilities with experience in managing teams and driving performance improvements

  • proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics, and other e-commerce tools

  • ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with tight deadlines

  • fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus
