Operations Executive - Air Freight

As an Operations Executive - Air Freight, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the air freight operations. Your primary duties include coordinating with airlines, handling shipments, negotiating rates, and ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of cargo. You will also be liaising with customs authorities, preparing documentation, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the shipment of air freight from origin to destination.
• Ensure timely scheduling and tracking of air freight shipments in compliance with customer requirements and regulations.
• Communicate with airlines, freight forwarders, and other relevant parties to arrange air freight transportation.
• Manage customs clearance processes and documentation for air freight shipments.
• Monitor and address any delays or issues in air freight shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, agents, and carriers to optimize air freight operations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of air freight shipments, including shipment details, costs, and performance metrics.
• Analyze and report on air freight performance, costs, and trends to identify areas for improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to air freight transportation.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in air freight operations.

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of air freight operations and international transportation regulations.
• Experience working in a similar role within the logistics industry, preferably with air freight focus.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications such as ERP systems, TMS platforms, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
