We are seeking a qualified and experienced Offshore HSE Advisor to join our team. As an Offshore HSE Advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental protection of personnel working on offshore projects. Your main duties will include conducting risk assessments, implementing safety procedures, providing HSE training to employees, and investigating incidents to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HSE practices, offshore operations, and risk management. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for this role. A relevant HSE certification and previous experience in offshore HSE advisory roles are preferred. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental (HSE) strategies and programs for offshore operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of offshore facilities to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company standards.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents to identify root causes and develop corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Provide HSE training and guidance to offshore personnel to promote a strong safety culture.
  • Review and approve HSE plans, risk assessments, and work permits for offshore activities.
  • Monitor and report HSE performance metrics to management and recommend improvements as needed.
  • Conduct emergency response drills and exercises to ensure offshore personnel are prepared for emergencies.
  • Ensure that all offshore equipment and processes meet HSE standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with third-party contractors and vendors to ensure they comply with HSE requirements while working offshore.
  • Keep abreast of new developments in HSE regulations and best practices to continuously improve offshore HSE performance.

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
  • Certified Health and Safety Professional (CHSP) or equivalent certification
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in offshore health, safety, and environmental management
  • Proficiency in offshore regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
