Job Description

The Office Assistant will provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. The role requires a self-motivated and organized individual with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision. The Office Assistant will be responsible for handling office tasks, such as filing, generating reports, and responding to emails. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to multitask effectively.


Responsibilities

  • Perform general office duties, such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and sorting mail.
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment by monitoring inventory and placing orders.
  • Organize and schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
  • Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical.
  • Greet and assist visitors in a professional manner.
  • Maintain office cleanliness and orderliness.
  • Assist colleagues with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and forms.
  • Ensure that office operations run smoothly and efficiently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar administrative role.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
