Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Office Assistant and Data Entry Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various administrative tasks and accurately entering data into our systems. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data entry tasks to input, update, and maintain accurate information in our databases.
  • Prepare, compile, and sort documents and data sheets for data entry.
  • Verify data by comparing it to source documents and update existing data.
  • Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested.
  • Ensure data integrity and security by following company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with general office administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory levels.
  • Handle incoming calls and other communications, greeting clients and visitors as needed.
  • Assist in scheduling appointments and managing calendars for team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the office.


Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position.
  • Fast typing skills; knowledge of touch typing system is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and data programs.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High school diploma; additional computer training or certification will be an asset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an office environment or related field.
  • Familiarity with administrative duties.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
