Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team and provide exceptional care to patients in need of rehabilitation services. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive capabilities to develop individualized treatment plans. You will work closely with patients to help them regain independence and improve their quality of life through therapeutic activities and interventions. Additionally, you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Occupational Therapy, relevant certifications, and a passion for helping others reach their full potential. Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients' physical, cognitive, and emotional conditions.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans to help clients improve their functional abilities.
  • Assist clients in learning new ways to perform daily tasks and activities to promote independence.
  • Provide therapy interventions to help clients achieve their specific goals and improve overall quality of life.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Educate clients and their families on strategies and techniques to maximize their independence and well-being.
  • Recommend adaptive equipment and assistive devices to enhance clients' engagement in daily activities.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of clients' progress and treatment interventions.
  • Stay current with advancements in occupational therapy practices and techniques.
  • Participate in professional development activities and training to further enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients and healthcare team.
