Neonatologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatologist to provide specialized medical care for newborns, particularly premature and critically ill infants. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing neonatal conditions, ensuring the highest standard of care for newborns and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medical care to newborn infants, including premature and critically ill babies.
• Diagnose and manage neonatal diseases, birth defects, infections, and respiratory distress syndromes.
• Perform advanced procedures, such as intubation, mechanical ventilation, and resuscitation when necessary.
• Monitor and assess newborn development, vitals, and overall health conditions.
• Work closely with obstetricians, pediatricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated neonatal care.
• Communicate effectively with parents and families, offering guidance, emotional support, and medical updates.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, medical ethics, and industry regulations.
• Participate in research, training, and continued medical education to stay updated with advancements in neonatology.

Requirements:

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Neonatology or Pediatrics with a neonatology fellowship.
• Valid medical license to practice in Dubai.
• Extensive experience in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs).
• Proficiency in neonatal resuscitation, ventilation techniques, and emergency neonatal procedures.
• Strong decision-making and critical thinking skills under high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with medical teams and parents.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in neonatology.
