MEP Technician

As an MEP Technician, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance, installation, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in various commercial and residential buildings. Your day-to-day tasks will involve conducting regular inspections, identifying issues in HVAC systems, electrical wiring, and pipework, and performing necessary repairs or upgrades to ensure optimal functionality. Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in buildings.
• Inspect systems to identify and troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary repairs.
• Conduct preventive maintenance procedures on MEP systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Coordinate with other team members and contractors to complete projects within specified timelines.
• Document work activities, including maintenance and repair tasks, in detailed reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards while carrying out maintenance and repair work.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and other staff as needed.
• Keep abreast of advancements in MEP technology and recommend updates or modifications to systems.
• Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and resolve issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and equipment to support maintenance and repair activities.

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical certification or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems.
• Knowledge and experience with MEP systems and equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
