Job Description: MEP Supervisor

An MEP Supervisor, also known as a Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Supervisor, is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in construction projects. The role involves coordinating with diverse teams to ensure that all MEP systems are functioning efficiently and meet safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the installation and maintenance of MEP systems on construction sites.
• Plan and schedule MEP activities to meet project timelines.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations for all MEP systems.
• Manage a team of technicians and contractors for seamless project execution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise with MEP systems.
• Coordinate with architects and engineers to ensure MEP designs are implemented accurately.
• Conduct regular inspections to assess the performance of MEP systems.
• Prepare reports on MEP system status, budget, and progress.
• Train staff on proper installation and maintenance procedures for MEP systems.
• Maintain inventory of MEP materials and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations related to MEP systems.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Professional certifications in MEP systems are a plus.
