MEP Estimator

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced MEP Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the cost of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects by analyzing drawings, specifications, and other documentation. Key duties include preparing detailed cost estimates, reviewing project plans and specifications, identifying potential cost-saving opportunities, and collaborating with project managers and engineers. The successful candidate must have a deep understanding of MEP systems, strong analytical skills, and excellent attention to detail. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is required, along with proven experience in MEP estimating. Responsibilities

• Analyze project requirements, specifications, and drawings to prepare accurate estimates for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Review and evaluate project scope, cost factors, and materials to determine project feasibility and identify potential risks.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for cost estimation.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Develop and submit competitive bids and proposals for MEP projects in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of cost estimates, bids, and project documentation.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and negotiations with clients to clarify project requirements and address concerns.
• Stay current with industry trends, pricing, and technological advancements in MEP systems to ensure accurate estimating practices.
• Assist in value engineering efforts to optimize project costs without compromising quality or performance.
• Support post-bid activities such as contract reviews, change order processing, and project cost tracking to ensure financial success of the project.

• Proficiency in MEP software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.
