MEP Design Engineer

The MEP Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for various construction projects. They will work closely with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure that the MEP systems meet all project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Developing design concepts for MEP systems
• Creating detailed drawings and specifications
• Performing calculations and analysis for system sizing
• Conduct site inspections to monitor the installation and functionality of MEP systems.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and contractors.
• Perform energy calculations to optimize the efficiency of MEP systems.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Coordinating with other design team members
• Reviewing and approving shop drawings
• Conducting site visits and inspections

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in MEP design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations
