MEP Coordinator

Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Oversee and coordinate MEP services across multiple construction sites to ensure alignment with project goals.

·       Collaborate with architects, contractors, and consultants to integrate MEP services into the project design and execution.

·       Troubleshoot and resolve field issues related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems during the construction phase.

·       Conduct site inspections to ensure MEP installations meet quality standards, specifications, and codes.

·       Prepare and review MEP bid packages, budgets, and value engineering proposals.

·       Maintain project documentation, including drawings, schedules, and reports.

·       Ensure MEP works comply with local codes, regulations, and industry standards.

·       Develop and implement workflows, processes, and procedures to enhance project team efficiency.

·       Serve as a liaison between project teams, contractors, and clients to address concerns and ensure effective communication.

·       Provide technical guidance and recommendations for cost-saving measures and system improvements.

Qualifications and Requirements:

·       Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.

·       Minimum of 10 years of experience as an MEP Coordinator in the Construction Industry, preferably in GCC countries.

·       In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and their integration into construction projects.

·       Strong understanding of building codes and regulations related to MEP works.

·       Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational abilities.

·       Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.

·       Proven track record of managing MEP coordination for large-scale construction projects.

·       Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
