Mental Health Counselor

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Mental Health Counselor to provide psychological support to individuals dealing with emotional and behavioral challenges. The ideal candidate will use evidence-based techniques to assess, diagnose, and treat mental health issues, while promoting overall well-being and personal development through one-on-one and group counseling sessions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions.

• Develop personalized treatment plans based on client needs.

• Monitor client progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers and social services.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed.

• Educate clients and families on mental health topics.

• Promote mental wellness and healthy coping strategies.

• Stay informed about current therapy methods and regulations.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, or related field.

• Valid license or certification to practice in the UAE.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in mental health counseling.

• Strong understanding of various counseling techniques.

• Empathetic, patient, and excellent listening skills.

• Strong ethical standards and professionalism.

• Ability to maintain client confidentiality.

• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
