A Medical Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling medical products or services to healthcare professionals, hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies. This role involves building relationships with key stakeholders, understanding customer needs, and providing solutions through the company’s product offerings. The ideal candidate should have strong sales skills, product knowledge, and the ability to drive business growth in a competitive healthcare market.
Responsibilities:
Promote and sell the company’s medical products and services to healthcare professionals and institutions.
Develop and maintain relationships with doctors, pharmacists, hospital staff, and other key stakeholders.
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients, explaining the features and benefits of medical products.
Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions that align with their healthcare requirements.
Monitor competitor products, services, and market trends to maintain a competitive edge.
Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall revenue growth of the company.
Provide after-sales support and follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues.
Prepare and deliver sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to the management team.
Participate in medical conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote products and increase brand visibility.
Stay updated with the latest medical developments, product innovations, and regulatory changes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, or a related field.
Proven experience in medical sales or pharmaceutical sales (1-3 years preferred).
Strong knowledge of medical products, healthcare industry, and relevant regulations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build strong relationships with healthcare professionals.
Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Ability to understand and explain complex medical concepts to clients.
Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
