Medical Receptionist

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all patients while efficiently handling administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner

• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage calendars for medical staff

• Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of personal and insurance information

• Process billing and collect payments for medical services

• Coordinate with healthcare professionals and support staff to ensure seamless operations

• Manage the waiting area and keep it clean, organized, and welcoming

• Respond to patient inquiries and provide information on clinic procedures and policies

• Ensure compliance with medical privacy regulations 

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional medical administration training is a plus

• Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting is preferred

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and office software

• Friendly and compassionate demeanor with a patient-first mindset

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
