Medical Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our healthcare team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests, preparing samples, and providing accurate test results to support the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, prepare, and process patient samples for laboratory testing

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests, including blood, urine, and tissue analysis

• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments in accordance with health and safety regulations

• Ensure accuracy and reliability of test results by adhering to quality control procedures

• Record and document test results and ensure proper labeling and tracking of samples

• Assist physicians and healthcare professionals by providing test results for patient diagnoses

• Follow established laboratory protocols to maintain a sterile and safe working environment

• Manage inventory of laboratory supplies and materials, ensuring availability and proper storage

• Participate in regular training and professional development to stay updated on laboratory techniques

• Assist in the maintenance of patient records and confidentiality in compliance with medical privacy regulations

  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field

• 2+ years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting

• In-depth knowledge of laboratory tests, procedures, and equipment

• Familiarity with safety protocols, infection control practices, and laboratory regulations in the UAE

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and reliability of test results

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills

• Good communication skills and the ability to interact with healthcare professionals
