MEA Logistics Manager

As a MEA Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the logistics operations across the Middle East and Africa region. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the smooth flow of goods and materials while minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency. This role requires excellent leadership skills, a deep understanding of logistics processes, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics strategies to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Oversee the transportation, warehousing, and distribution of goods across the MEA region.
• Collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs officials to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing carrying costs.
• Monitor performance metrics such as transportation costs, delivery accuracy, and on-time performance.
• Manage and develop a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance and support as necessary.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in logistics management, preferably in the MEA region.
• Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in logistics software and systems.
