Manager - Information Security

We are seeking a highly skilled Manager - Information Security to lead and oversee our organization's cybersecurity framework. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining security policies and procedures that safeguard our digital assets and sensitive information. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, strategic thinking capabilities, and experience in managing teams and cybersecurity operations. This position requires a proactive leader who can assess potential risks, respond to incidents, and ensure full compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Design and enforce a comprehensive information security strategy tailored to the organization's structure and operations

• Oversee daily operations of the information security team, ensuring consistent monitoring and protection of systems

• Identify vulnerabilities through risk assessments and penetration testing, recommending and implementing appropriate safeguards

• Lead incident response efforts, investigating security breaches and ensuring swift and effective mitigation measures

• Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and best practices that align with industry regulations and compliance frameworks

• Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate security into all technological and business processes

• Conduct security awareness training sessions for staff to foster a culture of cybersecurity throughout the organization

• Evaluate and implement security tools, software, and technologies to enhance the overall security posture

• Regularly report on security metrics, incidents, and project updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders

• Stay informed about emerging threats and trends, adapting the security strategy to keep ahead of evolving risks

Requirements:

• Proven experience in information security management or a related field, with a solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks

• Strong knowledge of risk management, security technologies, and data protection regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)

• Hands-on experience with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus tools, and security monitoring platforms

• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and coordinate across departments during security incidents

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess risks and develop effective strategies

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related discipline; a master’s degree is a plus

• Ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
