Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining an effective information security management system to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our organization's data. Key duties will include developing and implementing security policies and procedures, conducting regular security assessments and audits, identifying and mitigating security risks, and providing guidance and support to staff on security best practices. The Information Security Manager will also be responsible for responding to and managing security incidents, as well as staying abreast of evolving security threats and technologies to continually improve our security posture. Candidates must have a strong background in information security, relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA, and excellent communication and leadership skills. Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's information security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the information security program.
  • Conduct regular security risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify potential weaknesses in the organization's security posture.
  • Develop and maintain incident response and disaster recovery plans to ensure the organization is prepared to respond to security incidents and data breaches.
  • Monitor security compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Provide security awareness training and education to employees to promote a culture of security awareness within the organization.
  • Coordinate with IT teams to implement security controls and technologies to protect the organization's systems and data.
  • Respond to and investigate security incidents, including conducting forensic analysis and coordinating with legal counsel, law enforcement, and other stakeholders as necessary.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure the security of third-party systems and data.
  • Stay current on emerging security threats and trends and make recommendations for improving the organization's security posture.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security or related field.
  • Strong understanding of network security, encryption, firewalls, and other security technologies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
