Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and vigilant Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding company assets and maintaining a safe environment for both customers and employees. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Key responsibilities include monitoring surveillance cameras, conducting regular patrols, investigating incidents of theft or misconduct, and collaborating with law enforcement when necessary. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to preventing losses are essential for success in this position. A background in security or law enforcement is preferred. Responsibilities

  • Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of unauthorized entry or suspicious activities.
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify and respond to security threats.
  • Investigate incidents of theft, vandalism, or other security breaches and create detailed reports.
  • Conduct routine inspections of premises to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies to report crimes and assist in investigations.
  • Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize financial losses due to theft or fraud.
  • Train and educate staff on security protocols and best practices to maintain a secure environment.
  • Monitor access control systems and ensure only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide assistance during evacuation procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of security incidents, equipment maintenance, and training activities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in loss prevention or security preferred.
  • Strong observational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
