Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented logistics coordinator to oversee the efficient movement of goods, manage supply chain operations, and ensure timely deliveries. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, transporters, and internal teams to optimize logistics processes. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to manage multiple shipments, and knowledge of international and domestic shipping regulations. You will also be responsible for tracking shipments, managing documentation, and improving operational efficiency to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• coordinate and monitor supply chain operations to ensure timely deliveries

• communicate with suppliers, transport companies, and warehouses to schedule shipments

• track shipments, update records, and provide status reports to stakeholders

• ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations

• manage logistics documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, and customs clearance papers

• optimize transportation routes to reduce costs and improve efficiency

• handle any logistics-related issues, including delays, damages, and inventory discrepancies

• maintain accurate records of stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team

• analyze logistics performance and suggest process improvements

• work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate billing and cost management

Requirements:

• bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field

• minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations

• strong understanding of shipping regulations, customs procedures, and freight management

• excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

• proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems

• ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines

• strong communication and negotiation skills
