Legal Counsel

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and support to the organization. Key responsibilities include drafting and reviewing a wide range of contracts, managing legal disputes, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The Legal Counsel will also be required to stay up-to-date on changes in legislation that may impact the organization and provide training to staff on legal matters. The successful candidate must possess a Juris Doctor degree and have at least 5 years of experience practicing law, preferably in a corporate or commercial setting. Responsibilities

• Providing expert legal advice and guidance to the organization on a wide range of matters, including contracts, regulatory issues, disputes, and compliance.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and policies.
• Conducting legal research and staying updated on relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Representing the organization in legal proceedings, negotiations, and other legal matters.
• Collaborating with internal teams to provide legal support and ensure business decisions are legally sound.
• Developing and implementing strategies to manage legal risks and protect the organization's interests.
• Participating in corporate governance and compliance activities, including board meetings and reporting.
• Managing relationships with external legal counsel and overseeing outsourced legal work when necessary.
• Assisting in the development and delivery of legal training programs for employees.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of legal processes, policies, and procedures within the organization.
