Job Description

The Lead Instrumentation Engineer/TPE V is responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership in the field of instrument engineering. They are responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining all instrumentation systems within a project. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and reliable instrumentation performance. The Lead Instrumentation Engineer/TPE V also reviews and approves instrumentation designs and provides technical support during project execution.


Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement instrumentation and control systems.
  • Lead and participate in instrument commissioning and testing activities.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and field technicians.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve technical issues and provide solutions.
  • Conduct technical reviews and inspections to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Manage and coordinate instrumentation activities from concept to completion.
  • Keep abreast of new technologies and industry best practices.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in instrumentation engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of instrument design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in using industry software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
