Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Inspection Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inspection activities within the organization. Key duties include developing inspection plans, procedures, and guidelines; defining inspection methods and techniques; ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards; coordinating inspection activities with internal and external stakeholders; analyzing inspection data and preparing reports; and providing guidance and technical expertise to junior inspection engineers. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of inspection techniques, technologies, and best practices, as well as excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, along with relevant certifications and several years of experience in a similar role, are required. Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the inspection process, including planning, scheduling, and executing inspections on various projects.
  • Lead a team of inspection engineers and provide guidance and support throughout the inspection process.
  • Develop and implement inspection procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Review inspection reports and make recommendations for improvements or corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to coordinate inspections and address any issues that may arise.
  • Conduct training sessions for inspection staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in inspection techniques and procedures.
  • Monitor ongoing projects to ensure that inspections are conducted in a timely manner and that all quality standards are met.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and developments in inspection technology to continuously improve inspection processes.
  • Communicate inspection findings and recommendations to management and other relevant parties.
  • Participate in meetings and discussions with clients to address any concerns or questions related to inspection activities.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
  • Certification in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in inspection engineering
  • Proficiency in relevant industry standards and regulations
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
