Job Description
A Lead Architect is responsible for overseeing the design and development of architectural projects. They manage a team of architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure that projects meet client requirements, are completed within budget and time constraints, and adhere to architectural standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Developing architectural designs and plans based on client requirements.
- Leading and coordinating the architectural team throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborating with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure project feasibility and efficiency.
- Conducting site visits and inspections to assess construction progress and quality.
- Reviewing and approving architectural and engineering drawings.
- Managing project budgets, timelines, and resources.
- Ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements.
- Providing technical guidance and resolving design-related issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- Proven experience in architectural design and project management.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other architectural tools.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
