Laptop Technician - Chip Level

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on laptops at the chip level.
• Repair or replace faulty components such as motherboards, processors, RAM, and hard drives on laptops.
• Perform soldering and desoldering of chip-level components to resolve technical issues.
• Conduct thorough testing and quality checks after each repair to ensure proper functionality.
• Use specialized tools and equipment to perform chip-level repairs with precision and accuracy.
• Keep up-to-date with latest laptop technologies and components to provide effective repair solutions.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and customer interactions for tracking purposes.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians or team members as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent damage to laptops and ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other departments such as customer service and sales to coordinate repair processes and deliver excellent customer service.

• Diploma or certification in Computer Hardware and Networking
• Proficiency in chip level repair and troubleshooting of laptops
• Knowledge of electronic components and circuits
