Junior Civil Engineer

The Junior Civil Engineer will support senior engineers in the planning, design, and execution of construction and infrastructure projects. This role involves assisting with site assessments, drafting reports and drawings, and ensuring that projects comply with safety regulations and technical standards. The position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in civil engineering while working closely with project teams to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing technical drawings, designs, and reports for civil engineering projects

• Conduct site visits to gather data and monitor ongoing work

• Support in reviewing project specifications, plans, and documentation

• Assist in ensuring compliance with local construction regulations and safety codes

• Help in preparing cost estimates and material take-offs

• Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other engineers during project execution

• Participate in project meetings and prepare meeting minutes or progress reports

• Perform quality checks on construction materials and completed work

• Update project documentation and maintain organized project records

• Assist in resolving technical issues and proposing efficient solutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

• Internship or prior experience in a similar role is an advantage

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software

• Basic understanding of construction methods and engineering principles

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and teamwork abilities

• Attention to detail and organizational skills

• Willingness to work on-site and travel to project locations

• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
