Job Description
The Junior Architect is responsible for assisting in the design and development of architectural projects. They will collaborate with senior architects and engineers to create drawings and specifications, conduct site visits, and assist in project coordination. The Junior Architect will also stay updated on industry trends and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior architects and engineers to develop architectural designs and drawings.
- Conduct site visits and assess project feasibility and constraints.
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets and schedules.
- Develop and update architectural specifications and building codes.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment and coordination of design activities.
- Prepare and present design proposals to clients and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in architectural design.
- Assist in the selection and coordination of materials and finishes for projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field.
- Proficiency in architectural design software.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
