Junior Accountant

The Junior Accountant is responsible for supporting the finance department in various accounting tasks. This includes assisting with the preparation of financial statements, maintaining general ledger records, reconciling accounts, and assisting in financial analysis. The junior accountant will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations and supporting the implementation of financial policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records.
• Reconcile and analyze accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist in the implementation and enforcement of financial policies and procedures.
• Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes and practices.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and internal controls.
• Assist in the coordination and completion of external audits.
• Provide general administrative support to the finance department.
