IT Support Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end users regarding hardware and software issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems in a timely and efficient manner.
• Install, configure, and upgrade computer systems and applications.
• Set up and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Perform regular system updates and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist in the implementation of new IT projects and initiatives.
• Create and maintain documentation for IT systems, procedures, and processes.
• Train users on IT tools and software to enhance their technical skills.
• Monitor IT security measures and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to provide comprehensive support and solutions to end users.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
• Strong knowledge of operating systems, hardware, and software applications
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Prior experience in IT support or help desk role is preferred
