The IT Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring top technology talent to meet the staffing needs of the organization or clients. This role involves working closely with hiring managers to understand technical requirements, utilizing various recruitment channels, and ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process. The IT Recruiter plays a key role in building a strong talent pipeline in areas such as software development, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and data analytics.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with hiring managers to identify current and future hiring needs in the IT department.
Write and post job descriptions on various platforms including job boards, social media, and company websites.
Source candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, networking events, and referrals.
Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess technical skills and cultural fit.
Coordinate technical interviews, assessments, and feedback with hiring teams.
Manage the entire recruitment life cycle from sourcing to onboarding.
Maintain a candidate database and track metrics such as time-to-hire and cost-per-hire.
Ensure a positive candidate experience and act as a brand ambassador for the company.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a technical or IT recruiter in an agency or in-house setting.
Familiarity with IT roles and technical skill sets (e.g., developers, engineers, analysts, cybersecurity professionals).
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple vacancies and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Up-to-date with current recruitment trends and technology hiring best practices.
