IT Operations Manager

Job Overview:
The IT Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management, reliability, and performance of an organization's IT infrastructure and support systems. This role ensures the seamless operation of hardware, software, networks, and IT services, while aligning with strategic business objectives. Working in compliance with UAE cybersecurity and data protection regulations, the IT Operations Manager also manages teams, vendors, and processes to maintain operational efficiency and service excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Leading the IT operations team in managing servers, networks, cloud services, and support systems.

• Monitoring system performance, availability, and security to ensure business continuity and data protection.

• Overseeing IT service management processes including incident, problem, and change management.

• Managing relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of IT solutions.

• Collaborating with senior management to align IT strategies with business needs and goals.

• Preparing and managing the IT operations budget and procurement in line with company policy.

• Establishing and maintaining IT policies, procedures, and best practices based on industry standards.

• Ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, including data privacy, cybersecurity, and digital governance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a master’s degree or certifications is a plus.

• 6–8 years of experience in IT operations or infrastructure management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

• Strong technical knowledge of networks, data centers, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and enterprise applications.

• Proven ability to manage large-scale IT environments and multi-disciplinary teams.

• Experience with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL.

• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills.

• Strong understanding of UAE cybersecurity regulations and data protection laws.

• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.
