IT Operations Manager

We are seeking a proactive and experienced IT Operations Manager to lead our technology infrastructure and support functions in the UAE. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems, managing support teams, and driving continuous improvements in service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership capabilities, and a strategic mindset to align IT operations with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day IT operations, ensuring system availability, security, and performance

• Manage IT support teams, including helpdesk, network, and infrastructure personnel

• Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices

• Ensure timely resolution of technical issues and escalation management

• Monitor and optimize system performance and uptime

• Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning

• Collaborate with other departments to support enterprise applications and projects

• Evaluate and manage vendor relationships and service level agreements (SLAs)

• Plan and manage IT budgets, procurement, and resource allocation

• Stay informed of emerging technologies and make recommendations for upgrades

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

• Minimum 7 years of experience in IT operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role

• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, systems administration, and cybersecurity

• Proven leadership and team management skills

• Experience with ITIL practices and service management tools

• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills

• Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or Cisco/Microsoft are preferred
