Job Description
The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization's information technology systems and infrastructure. They manage the IT team, ensure the proper functioning of computer systems and networks, and implement technology solutions to improve operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the IT team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and standards.
- Plan and manage the organization's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network resources.
- Ensure the availability and security of computer systems, networks, and data.
- Identify and recommend technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency and meet business needs.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts for IT products and services.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of IT systems, including upgrades and patches.
- Develop and manage IT budgets and control IT-related expenses.
- Provide technical support to employees and resolve IT-related issues.
- Stay updated with the latest IT trends and technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in IT management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and security.
- Excellent leadership and management abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficient in IT management software and tools.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and compliance standards.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities.
