Job Description
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular audits, and ensuring optimal inventory levels. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve discrepancies, implement inventory control measures, and support efficient warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including quantities, locations, and values.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to verify inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Analyze inventory levels and trends to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders regarding inventory status.
- Participate in the development and implementation of inventory control measures and procedures.
- Assist with the planning and execution of physical inventory counts.
- Provide support and assistance in other warehouse-related activities as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior experience in inventory management or a related role.
- Knowledge of inventory control principles and practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
