Job Description

As an Inventory Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining the company's inventory levels. Your responsibilities will include monitoring inventory levels, identifying discrepancies, tracking inventory movement, and collaborating with various departments to ensure optimal stock levels. You will be responsible for conducting regular inventory audits, updating inventory records, and analyzing data to forecast future inventory needs. Additionally, you will work closely with suppliers to coordinate shipments and manage the replenishment process. The ideal candidate for this position will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with inventory management systems and strong analytical abilities are also desired. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement team to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Track and report on inventory turnover, stock aging, and obsolete inventory.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Coordinate with logistics team to ensure timely and accurate product deliveries.
  • Implement best practices for inventory management to optimize storage space and minimize storage costs.
  • Collaborate with sales and production teams to forecast inventory requirements and prevent stockouts.
  • Supervise and train inventory control staff to ensure efficient and accurate inventory management.
  • Implement and maintain inventory management software to streamline processes and enhance accuracy.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
  • Proven work experience as an Inventory Controller or similar role.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
