Inventory Control Specialist

The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of inventory control including maintaining accurate inventory counts, conducting audits, and analyzing inventory data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement. This position will work closely with the purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure that inventory levels are adequate to support operational needs while minimizing excess inventory. The Inventory Control Specialist will also be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline inventory management processes.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate inventory counts and conduct regular audits
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
• Work with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure adequate inventory levels
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline inventory management
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to inventory control

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience in inventory control or a related field
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of inventory control best practices and process improvement techniques
