Internal Auditor

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Internal Auditor to join our dynamic team in Dubai. As an Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for evaluating and ensuring the effectiveness of our organization's internal controls, risk management policies, and financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing and possess business acumen to provide insightful recommendations for improving our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct independent financial and operational audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify any weaknesses or areas for improvement
• Prepare and maintain audit reports and documentation detailing audit findings and recommendations
• Work with management to develop risk management strategies and monitor their implementation
• Evaluate the accuracy and completeness of financial statements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Identify and assess potential areas of risk and recommend preventive measures to mitigate them
• Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure compliance and improve internal control measures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably in a large and complex organization
• Knowledge of IFRS and other accounting standards
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with data analytics tools and techniques is a plus
