Interior Designer

The Interior Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing functional and aesthetically appealing interior spaces across residential, commercial, or hospitality projects within the UAE. This role involves developing design proposals, selecting materials, creating 3D visualizations, and overseeing the implementation of design solutions in compliance with UAE building codes and cultural preferences. Working closely with clients, contractors, and suppliers, the Interior Designer ensures that each project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest design standards expected in the region.

Responsibilities:

• Creating interior design concepts that align with client requirements, brand identity, and project functionality.

• Preparing mood boards, space planning layouts, 3D renderings, and detailed drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design tools.

• Selecting finishes, materials, furniture, and lighting fixtures that suit both design aesthetics and regional availability.

• Ensuring all designs meet UAE regulations and building authority requirements (e.g., Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, or ADM standards).

• Coordinating with contractors, consultants, and suppliers during site visits and throughout the project execution phase.

• Managing procurement schedules and specifications to ensure timely delivery and installation of design elements.

• Participating in client meetings to present design ideas, receive feedback, and adjust proposals as needed.

• Staying updated on interior trends, sustainable design practices, and material innovations relevant to the UAE market.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field from a recognized institution.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in interior design, preferably within the UAE or GCC region.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3ds Max, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.

• Solid understanding of local authority submission processes and regional design codes.

• Experience in handling FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) sourcing and budgeting.

• Excellent visualization, presentation, and communication skills to engage with clients and stakeholders.

• Strong project management abilities to handle multiple design projects under tight deadlines.

• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus for client communication and coordination with local vendors.
