Job Description
The Information Technology Officer is responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure. This includes managing hardware, software, networking, and security systems to ensure optimal performance and data protection. The IT Officer will also provide technical support to staff and assist with troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures
- Manage and maintain hardware and software systems
- Ensure data security and backup procedures are in place
- Provide technical support to staff
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in IT support or administration
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and networking systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
