Indian Chef

The Indian Chef is responsible for preparing authentic Indian cuisine in a restaurant or catering establishment. They will plan menus, create recipes, and oversee the kitchen operations. The Indian Chef must have a strong understanding of Indian spices, flavors, and cooking techniques, along with the ability to manage a team effectively.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop Indian recipes that meet food quality and presentation standards.
• Source and select quality ingredients and spices required for Indian cooking.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and kitchen assistants.
• Ensure efficient kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
• Collaborate with the management team to plan menus and pricing strategies.
• Monitor food supplies and equipment inventory, and place orders as needed.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
