HSE Specialist

The HSE Specialist is responsible for ensuring the compliance of the organization with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards. They conduct regular inspections and audits to identify any potential hazards and risks in the workplace. Additionally, they develop and implement safety programs and training to promote a safe working environment. The HSE Specialist also investigates incidents and accidents and provides recommendations for improvement. They collaborate with management and employees to create a culture of safety and prevent injuries and illnesses.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections to identify any safety and environmental hazards.
• Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Investigate incidents and accidents and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with management and employees to promote a safe working environment.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential risks and develop control measures.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training.

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is preferred.
• Proven experience in managing HSE programs and initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
