Job Description

The HSE Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the organization complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations. They will assess workplace hazards, develop safety protocols, and conduct training programs for employees. Additionally, they will investigate accidents and incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct risk assessments and identify workplace hazards.
  • Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental protocols.
  • Monitor compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Provide training to employees on safety procedures and practices.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents and prepare reports.
  • Recommend and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and revise safety policies.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance.
  • Stay updated on health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Develop emergency response plans and protocols.
  • Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications, such as NEBOSH or OSHA, are preferred.
  • Proven experience in HSE management.
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
